Montecillo Gran Reserva Special Selection wines are crafted exclusively when vintages are rated as “excellent”, those excepcional harvests that culminate in robust, powerful and honest wines with a superlative aging potential. These wines are crafted in extremely limited quantities and reminds us of the solid heritage and pioneering spirit behind our winery.
Our artisanal bottle cellars in Fuenmayor guards a private collection of vintages that date back to 1926. Each decade, only a couple of vintages make the cut to become part of these oenological gems collection – some of which are released every year for vertical tastings, auctions, special events and limited specialty sales.
