CRAFTING AND AGING
D.O.C.a Rioja Vintage Rating: “Good”
History: Although the average rating for this year’s harvest was not considered exceptional, it was the case for the 50+ year-old vines that were selected to craft this wine. This was the last vintage within the collection that was crafted by the Navajas family, founders of the winery, before they passed the baton to another great wine dynasty, the Osborne family – who set to continue the centennial legacy.
Tasting note

COLOR: Pale ruby red with bright brick highlights.
AROMA & PALATE: At first shy, it then opens to vanilla and pastry notes along with caramelized fruit. With time it shows certain minerality and aromas of overripe dates. Fresh mouthfeel with and extraordinarily polished tannin with marvelous elegance. Rich finish surrounded by licquor notes.
